Item ID: 2347 - James Rodgers 10" Marine Clock. The clock is mounted on a custom mahogany display stand. The clock has been completely restored and is in very fine condition in every way. The dial is also engraved American Steam Gauge & Valve Manufacturng Company, Boston, Mass. This clock is extremely rare and desirable because of the quality of the engraving and its rare and elaborate case style. The clock is set into an attractive period mahogany base. The clock retains its original steam gauge case with an unusual multifaceted hinge bezel. Serial number: "35880" dates the clock to August 26, 1908. The clock retains its original eight day movement. Above the center of the hands is a sweep second dial and to the right a slow/fast adjustment bit. The silvered dial with engraved Roman numerals has the most elaborate engraving around its center and states: "American Steam Gauge Company Boston".
